Our International Client is seeking a talented Senior Sales Engineer to support its sales and business development activities in ASEAN.

The primary responsibility is to act as a technical adviser and product expert, working with the sales team and driving the technology evaluation stage of a sales process. You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technically-oriented prospects as well as ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

You need to be self-motivated and work in a fast-paced environment comfortably. The role involves working remotely and onsite within ASEAN and in APAC as required.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical adviser and product expert for the Clients prospects and customers across the region
  • Manage and coordinate all technical requirements in the Sales process
  • Perform technical demonstrations of the Clients solution in a face to face meetings, conventions, and web sessions
  • Responsible for presenting the Clients solution to prospects at field events, Conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs
  • Able to convey customer requirements to the Product Management teams
  • Design implementation of solutions according to customer’s technical requirements

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any correlating degree; Master’s degree and/or CISSP certification preferred
  • At least 3-5 year’s experience with application/software development with C#, .NET, JAVA, PHP, etc. programming languages and experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps tools preferred
  • At least three years of successful, customer-facing role and enterprise software Pre-Sales experience or consulting background preferred
  • Project management experience would be an advantage
  • Technical writing experience a plus
  • Good teamwork capability, ability to work autonomously, self-starter who works effectively with technical and non-technical people
  • A background in the software security industry, including penetration testing and code review, is highly preferred
  • Adaptable and flexible with a history of embracing new tools and technologies
  • Understanding of application security challenges and testing tools
  • Travel required when the situation allows and when safe to do so
  • Language proficiency in English. Additional languages will be an advantage.
